My Unexpected Journey Back To Joint Health

How I went from skeptic to believer in 30 days.

Everyone has a unique story to tell. My rheumatoid arthritis story started rather late in life and I still haven’t decided whether that was a blessing or a curse. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I got to live 69 years without having to deal with this disabling disease, but I’m angry that I had to play catch up to a diagnosis that has radically lowered my quality of life.

These were supposed to be the best years of my life. I’m retired, I have a fulfilling photography hobby, and am blessed with two beautiful grand kids, but in the past 5 years since my RA diagnosis, doing any activity, even regular tasks like brushing my teeth, are nearly impossible.

Disabling Diagnosis and Popping Pills

In the early days of my unsolved pain and discomfort, I was treated for sciatica, bursitis, inflammation, and fibromyalgia. I saw various doctors, specialists, frequented pain centers, underwent x rays, MRI’s, physical therapy, various pill therapies, and it seemed like each place I went I would get a different diagnosis or treatment. You name it I was on it.

A year-long prednisone treatment was to help with swelling, but only left me with 50 pounds that will not go away. The tramadol that was for pain made me feel anxious and foggy headed. Methotrexate was supposed to slow the progress of my disease, yet it didn’t allow me one day free from abdominal pain and nausea.

I felt over medicated and disillusioned by modern medicine, but I didn't know what the alternative could be. Three years, over a dozen side effects, and I didn’t feel any better. In fact, felt like I was going to die. This concoction of pills was killing my liver and kidneys.

Going Natural And Never Looking Back

Finally, with the encouragement of my son, I decided to research natural, less abrasive alternative treatments. I got on a hearty course of glucosamine and chondroitin, with the goal of being able to hold my camera again, but after six months, I was still struggling to turn the front door knob.

I tried fish oil, bone broth, methylsulfonylmethane, ginger, turmeric, but nothing seemed to work. So, now I had this carefully curated collection of supplements in the cupboard and pain and discomfort still wreaking havoc on my body.

Never the less, I kept on searching. Giving up was not an option. And one late night, while I was surfing the web, unable to sleep due to a painful flare up, I saw a video in my newsfeed about a new joint health supplement called EasyFlex. I thought, “What’s one more addition to an already large supplement assortment?”

Feeling The EasyFlex Difference

What caught my eye at first was their 90 day money back guarantee. I thought three months was a fair amount of time to test out the product, so I clicked “buy” and waited, hopeful once more.

I didn’t expect to feel better overnight, but to my surprise, just four days into taking EasyFlex, I noticed a difference in my ability to get out of bed in the morning. This, of course, could have also been attributed to the fact that my most recent arthritis flare up had just subsided, but nevertheless, I remained optimistic.

I sure am glad I stuck with it because by day 12 I noticed a remarkable change in my mobility. I challenged myself to take a walk with my grand kids, and you know what? I could bend down with them to investigate every cool bug we encountered (about 300, give or take), without fear of getting stuck on the ground, not able to get back up. We made it all the way down to the ice cream shop and back home, with our tummies satisfied and my spirits lifted.

Right around the one month mark with EasyFlex was when I finally began to really trust myself again, so I dusted off the camera and took my son for a drive up the coast. As the sun set on that day, I realized how much I cherish the fact that my photography hobby allows me to be a memory keeper, of sorts, but I must say, the difficult memories of the last few years aren’t ones I intend to hold on to.

So, remember that 90 day EasyFlex guarantee? It has since come and gone. I re-upped my order and these last five months on EasyFlex have shown me that life can be fulfilling again. What I understand now, is that life is a journey and I’m happy to have traveled that painful road and come through to find the treasure on the other side.

I thank you for your support and willingness to read my story. I hope you have something to share as well, because we’re all in this together, right? Leave a comment below and head on over to 1MD’s website to order your own bottle of EasyFlex. Relief is as easy as clicking “buy.”
